Just get a kit. With a bunch of different sizes. Or buy an axle nut from the store (youll need a new one anyway) and get the thread off that.
That's a pretty important fastening point. I dont know if i'd trust it after I went through it with a die. I'd probably change the whole axle. at 60 bucks its not a bank breaker.
If you do use the same one make sure you use some Loctite Red.

Well, no. The axle was already out. I dont want a cheepo outer CV joint that you get with rebuilt. The factory OE shafts are good stuff. The die was $20 and the nut is a few $$. I am considering cleaning the joints and repacking them with Redline CV2 grease. This may help prevent metal on metal contact, which could cause breakage.
