People with headers please come in!

I want to get the headers for the max and I know that there are some companies out there that make them. I havent had experience with any of them so thats why I need your help. I found out that Pacesetter, Cattman, OBX and Place racing makes them for our cars but like I said no experience with any of them. SO if you could help me by listing pro's and cons of each brand of headers that would be appreciated. Thanks guys

i believe that headers won't make us gain much more hp. You will also need to unbolt 2 of the engine mounts in order take take the header out. there is no room to take it out unless you take the engine mount off from the car and play with it. people have actually swung the engine in order to replace it. Most people who are not boosted (turbo/SC) don't get the headers because they're a pain in the butt and not easy to replace yourself unless you actually have a shop

Believe it or not, the stock 3.0 headers are very good. People who have 3.5 swaps use the stock 3.0 headers and get 300+ bhp with them, so they seem to work well. Other headers might give you about 20hp over a completely stock car, but most of that is because they replace the y-pipe as well, which eliminates the pre-cat that the stock y-pipe has. Save yourself the cash and just get a y-pipe.

Unless of course, as ImmaSquashYou said, you're seriously boosted or something. In which case, from what I know:

- Cattman is the best -- best quality, best fitment
- OBX is pretty close second
- Pacesetter and Place Racing are good, but not quite as good
- Stone Racing is not worth buying
