BOSE I30 Question

Hey Everyone, i realize that this might be a question for the audio section but at the same time I think it is 4th Gen Specific.

Anyway, my BOSE I30 system has been acting all weird (audio problems, i think with the amp) and I am going to get a new one on Ebay and install it. My question is, is there anything weird i need to know about, for instance, these units are not car specific are they? Can I just simply swap them out?

they all should fit, but make sure it says your year and infinity, but all the harnesses should be the same

i have a 96 maxima SE, not an infinity. Are they the same? I only called it an I30 cause that is what other people were calling the BOSE unit on another bored.

Please correct me if i'm wrong.

The maxima and I30 share the same bose unit... Just like they share just about everything else.
