Does a CF hood and trunk save any significant weight? Also, is there anyway to keep the sun from fading them or does that just mean you bought a cheap hood?

Well, the trunk is 625.00 shipped from Ionic.
I have the Ionic Dynamics trunk and it fits just about perfect.

Its the clear coat they use that keeps them from fading.
Cheaper hoods/trunks that turn colors are a result of cheap quality clear coats.

i would leave it white and put some of that carbon fiber sticker stuff a good quality one over the top and clear coat it so it wont fade. It would look key another orger did it it really made the spoiler fit in again.

It wasnt a CF sticker. It was actual cf layed over his spoiler and then cleared.
I think it came out really nice, its different and still allows it to flow with both the body color and the CF theme.

ya i think i'll have the top half of the spoiler air brushed carbon fiber there is a really good body shop around here that does it and i saw a hood they air brushed and it looked like real cf so ya i'll have them air brush the top of the spoiler and keep the bottom white

At the moment no, but Im working on it
It may be something like that, or complete CF, the details are still hazy. Were seeing what can be done with an existing mold.
Right now, this is just an idea between my sponsor and myself.
Out of curiousity, who all would be interested?

im in on that spoiler.( for sure) it would be nice to have it exactly like that one. what do you think? i mean, if i want all c.f., i can just go buy a nice aftermarker one. i want to keep the maxima as sweet and clean as possible. thats the first i seen that one^^^. and im in the market for a spoiler too.
flavor, pm me if you get any more info on getting that made for some people, please and thank you. later

I would be interested in a 100% CF spoiler. Type II would be even better.

My Paradox CF trunk lid better show up today, or some heads are gonna roll! LOL
