HELP! Highbeam indicator always on, and one headlamp doesnt work...
My highbeam indicator is permanently on whether the light switch is on/off or low/high. Even if the car is off with the keys out, the indicator is on. Ontop of that, the passenger headlight cuts out on its own and doesn't come on for days or weeks. I checked the wiring between the bulbs and socket and it was fine...I even changed the bulbs and it was the same problem. When I switched to HID I got the same problem.
Is there a relay which causes this? Also when I had halogen bulbs my DRL'S were dead even though my low/high worked fine before. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Replacing the bulb doesnt help...I am actually running HID's...I had the exact same problem with my old halogens too. I cut off the old corroded 3 prong socket and have the wires directly feeeding the ignitor for my HIDs now.

No constant power, the power is simply being fed through the lowbeam power and using the stock ground...fark. I am hoping it is a simple ground issue...I need to check this out very soon.
