Alignment specs???? is there such a thing?

So i went to Firestone the other day, i wanted to get an alignment, because me doing the camber myself almost killed the tires. so i went there hoping to get the lifetime warranty because i'm mostly going to be highering n lowering my car due to the winter n what not. but this is was the case.

i went there, n so happened that one of my friends worked there. he said that he could do it, but it will never be right because the specs for the stock is different for lowered. this is obvious. but then he said, just use a leveler for the camber, i used one, and can't really get it right. i'm pretty sure that my car pulls to the left of right, but then i think its the camber that's doing this not the toe. But i didn't do it anways because my car would of never made it up the ramp.

Is there such thing as an alignment spec for lowered maximas or i30 in my case?? should i just do the camber thing again by buying a better leveler??? Most firestone places i went to, i can't make it up the ramp. the only place that i think i can make up is at STS, but they don't have lifetime warranty.

factory specs are factory specs, you should be withing that certain range regardless of drop. Correct me someone if I'm wrong but when you lower yes your number will be way off, but they still need to be in the proper spec as if it was on the factory suspesion. This is why some invenst in camber plates/bolts.

You might need to take you car to another shop. How low are you?

i'm maybe about .25 inches lower then 2 finger gaps on my 18 wheels. but i know that i'm .5 inches lower then that since my tires aren't the correct size since i'm running 225/45/18 instead of 235/40/18. i had it lower b4 wit just a lil bit under one finger gap. n for some reason, i think that i30's are a lil bit lower with the front bumper??? i'm not positive but it seems that way..
