how do u type like that? doesn't it get annoying and tiring?

all u have to do is put an led into the existing bulb holder. This requires u taking apart the kick panel and the covers going around the steering wheel. if u can stomach doing that, then you're set.

excuses excuses. if you had the caps on, IT WOULD BE TYPED OUT LIKE THIS: and Not Like This. Seriously, Your Caps Lock Key And Shift Keys Must Be Worn To Shiet.

but yea. the keyring mod is easy. once u take apart the dash, you'll see the keyring part. follow the wire, disconnect. bring it in side with u. place an led in place of the bulb. go back to your car, test it out, voila. o yea, always rememeber to disconnect the neg. on ur battery. JUST in case.

haha...yeah...some orgers are freakin princesses who complain and make big deals about everything...

the answer for ur question is simple...

open up ur steering column...take out that part..the bulb will have a green or blue condom looking dealie...(i think its a 194...i read this from a 5th genner)..get a sharpie and color that whatever color u want...put everything back together and ur done...

don't sharpie. for 4th gens its #74 bulb. just replace it with a 5mm or 3mm led. the sharpie is said to fade after time.

I used to color mine blue with a sharpie and it faded into a purple looking color. Then I got smart and finally put a white led inside and TADA.... I am proud of my work.

If the 4th gen is like the 7th gen, all you should have to do IIRC is unclip the electrical connector and pull it off

This is why Maxima.org is still my Homepage after a year of being out of the game, never change 4th gen forum.
That and the fact Craigslist-Maxima is my second homepage..

The key ring pops right off if you just give it a little wiggle, the connector is about 6 inches back. As for the LED, the old one was hell to get out, ended up shattering it into a million pieces with a micro-screwdriver. I put a blue T5 (Which is the same as a #74) SMD LED in mine, fit perfectly.
