Tranny Question

Note: I am logging on under my cousin's username as he has the ability to make threads and I dont..but after this post, I will be under my own.

Well, I own a 99 SE-L and some problems have arisen. There are more problems then I wish to list, and I'm sure there will be more. But for now, I have a tranny question. I pulled the codes (finally) and got this: Torque Converter Intermittent. Now my tranny has been acting funny..clutch slipping, engaging gears late or not at all. And from my impression, I would have to replace the whole thing..so my question is, is this a part problem exactly, or a tranny problem? And what will I have to do to fix it? This problem is of priority, but I still need coil's, and O2 sensor, new axles and some more crap. But anyway, thanks for any help you all can provide..
