OEM
I have aftermarket rotors and pads but they dust a lot and give a little noise once in a while. To me the better braking is worth it. If you want to mantain quiet braking and low dust, stick with what came with the Max.

why do your front rotors need to be changed? usually u can get by with just changing the pads.... unless your rotors are cracked/grinded. if there's nothing wrong with them just get some good pads that don't dust very much.

If you want less noise and less dust, definately stay with OEM pads. Aftermarket pads will dust more and are more likely to make noise. They definately stop better than OEM though, I just put Hawk HPS pads in and they stop great. No noise yet either.

I swear by OEM. I did my fronts and rears, at different times, and nary a squeal or groan. I even forgot to put the shims back in on the fronts, no problem. They seem to last a heck of a long time too (changed my fronts in the 50's, and they had 40% left, changed my rears at 89k, probably had 20% left)....

I beleive my Powerslot rotors are Brembo blanks which are then slotted. I have had no issues with mine, no warping at all. If I were to buy new replacement rotors (not slotted or drilled), I would go with the Brembo blanks over OEM to save some cash. There are many people on here who use them with OEM pads and are happy with their performance.

I've read that the quiet stops are not really an improvement over the OEM pads, but a good (less expensive) alternative. I have not used them so I can only tell you what I have read. Maybe other people can chime in on the Raybestos.

I have 1996 maxima GLE, i just changed all 4 rotors and pads..
i have 4 Brembo rotors drilled and slotted with Axxis brakes..
Best price i found for it was on Ebay from r1concepts really really great guys!!! they shipped 4 rotors with front and rear Axxis brake pads for $270... The parts came in like 4 days... and all the rotors were in the brembo box and they all have BREMBO embedded on the.. I think they are much much better over the stock rotors/pads.. I can feel the difference, there is just a bit of dust and NO NOISE!! If you are planning to change the rotors and everything, i would STRONGLY suggest paint your calipers also.... I have used FoliaTec paint, RED color.. it looks REALLY REALLY hot with 17in Konig Verdicts wrapped with Nankang tires.

I changed out my front rotors with brembo's and PBR semi metalic pads. They are great, no noise and awesome braking, takes some seriouse hard driving to get them hot. I wouldn't recommend going slotted unless your racing. They stop great but the slots cut up your pads and make alot of dust.

Yes, slots may wear your pads a little faster. But they also keep dust and grime from staying caught between your pads and rotors, which helps prevent scoring (which means you have to replace your rotor). I don't know why people keep forgetting about this, but it makes a BIG difference sometimes.
I'm running Brembo slotted front rotors, Brembo blank rear rotors, and Axxis/PBR Ultimate pads all around. $335 shipped from www.importrp.com. No noise, very good pedal feel, excellent response (close to OEM) and stopping power (MUCH BETTER than OEM) for the price, and not a lot of dust.
