JIC Magic vs Tein Basic

right now i have the tein basic. rides pretty nice and like how the drop looks on the car. well today was approached with an offer for a set of JIC Magic FLTA2 at a really great price. anyone here have the FLTA2 on their max? or has anyone had both the tein and jic on their car?

the JIC's are fantastic, I have them on an FC and my brothers Trueno, and the rides perfect for the track, and completely adjustable (as I guess the teins are) although recently I've heard things about the JICs being very prone to rust....just what I've heard.

arent the jic housings aluminum? cause the teins are steel and ive seen some of those rust too. i just like how the jics have the camber plate and you can also adjust the dampening.

and if i sell the teins, it'll probably be around 5-600. maybe in a month.

JIC's are fantastic for a great looking drop. Ride is a bit rough but just about anything is when you get as low as I am (Plus I'm on 18's). I think they are definately worth it for a long term lowering sloution as far as the adjustments and dampening are concerned.

The JICs will make your car ride a little rougher and handle better, plus they have the fairly extensive adjustability as has been mentioned. Probably won't be a night-and-day difference from the Teins, though -- unless of course you really like to tinker with your suspension.

From what I've heard, they tend to last about two years or so before the shocks have to be rebuilt.
