- EVAP control system does not operate properly.
- EVAP control system has a leak in the line between intake manifold and EVAP control system pressure sensor.

Possible causes include ...
- EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid valve stuck closed.
- EVAP control system pressure sensor and its circuit.
- Loose, disconnected, or improper connection of rubber tube.
- Blocked rubber tube.
- Blocked or bent rubber tube to MAP/BARO switch solenoid valve.
- Cracked EVAP canister.
- EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid valve.
- Closed Throttle Position Switch.
- Improper connection of one-way valve.
- Blocked purge port.
- EVAP canister vent control valve.


In particular:
- Blocked or bent rubber tube to MAP/BARO switch solenoid valve.
Would this be for MEVI install?
Because I had a "bad" mevi install. If it does include this I might be able to fix it.

Timing is critical as I need to freakin pass smog and register the car this week.

Common sense would tell me to double check all my connections and go over the MEVI isntall and see if everything is where and how it should be

 

Yea, the mevi install might have a vaccum leak somewhere. Would that do it?

I think however, that I might be OK, I found a hose that was kinked- it was the one from the (Solenoid?) to the throttle body. Man, I hope that fixes it because I am gonna have to go the the dealership if not..

 

Its very unlikely MEVI will throw a code - mainly cos your ECU knows Nothing about it. The vacumn is only to open close the butterflys a leak here won't throw any cel or cause any other problem Other than your MEVI not working (ie oppening closing as expected)

Have you got a strut brace make sure its not crushing the canister hose for your EVAP
