Do those run at stock wattage or "stage 2" high wattage?

I'm running Nokya Hyper Yellow H3 for my fogs and they look excellent. www.autodynamic.com has some good generic yellow 1157 and 1156 bulbs for your corners.

Here's a pic of my old setup with PIAA 9004 (I'm using Silverstars now) and Nokya H3:

ewuzh they run at the stock wattage I believe, I didnt have to upgrade any harnesses. Ive had the luminics bulbs for about 2 months and they have not blown. Also the place I bought then from gave me a 3 month warranty. Ill get some pictures up tonight right after work.

I think its 1 year warranty through the manafacturer. The 3 months he got was probably through the store (so it's more convenient to just go there and swap bulbs) if one blows out.

Well, the cop was either admiring your car, or noticed something he didn't approve of. My guess is #2.

Just get either one. I have the Nokyas and I can tell you that they are very yellow. Judging by the pictures, I don't think you can go wrong with either one. I'll try to take a picture tonight of my setup.

Ewuzh,

Where did you get those headlights? It looks like the inside, nearest the grill is also black, unlike the JDM sets I have found every where.

Thanks

They're "custom." It's known as the AE headlight mod because it resembles the headlights from the 2001 AE edition Maxima. Just bake open the headlights and spray paint the sides. I believe there is a How-To write up for it somewhere in the FAQs.

How about the overprice $30 plus shipping yellow capsules that Hidtech.com sells. Are they any better than yellow bulbs? I am waiting to see if they become more affordable and/or we start a group buy deal; do anyboby tryied them and compared them?

How about spray painting the fog lens with yellow paint? With a high temp paint? I know I have seen this on a burgandy max that had a turbo kit.. i was going to buy it (the car) but then changed my mind... thats a whole different story!!

you could always take off the paint by wet sanding it and polishing it with Mothers...

There is actually this colored film you can buy to wrap over any of your lights. Supposedly it works well and produces whatever color light you want since it filters the light to shine the color the film. However, the downside is that your lights will have a colored coating over them (tacky, IMHO).

Hey man, I just got my luminics today. I got the ultra violet headlight bulbs and the JDM yellow foglight bulbs, and am not sure I like the color combination. Do you think it looks good? I have white clearance lights and side markers. Hmmmm I'm thinking that maybe white headlight bulbs would better.

You dont like it? hmmm I love it because it is the same color combination on a lexus is300, and a lot of other people think its a tight setup.

I just got them and switched the headlights yesterday, got to get under and switch the fogs to the ultra violet as well, they look great with the headlights ultra violet alone.

Okay, if I have the ultraviolet headlight bulbs and the jdm yellow fogs, what color should the corner lights, the sidemarkers be? Mine now are white. I was thinking that maybe my silverstar foglight bulbs would look better with the ultraviolet headlights.... What do you color pros think?

are all these colors legal? i know that it is probably state by state, but just curious on a general census. and if not, do the cops seem to let you know very often, or do they not make a big deal about it?

one other thing: rather than getting new 9004 bulbs, can anyone vouch for the 9007 swap? is it a definite step up? i was planning on doing that, unless it isn't really worth it. just lookin for responses one way or another.

thanks.

Their site says they're completely street legal, but I'm not sure how true that is. The ultra violets are more ultra violet than I expected and I wouldn't be suprised if I got pulled over for them. As far as function the ultra violets suck compared silverstars its almost a night and day difference. I've had my silverstars for a while now so I don't expect them to last much longer and was looking for an alternative.
