Neon installation..

For those of you who have neons under the dash...where did you secure it to on the drivers side? What about on the passengers side, on the little ridge part?
Pics would be helpful.

Thanks!

Everyone is going to call you a ricer.

But I am going to tell you a little advice, go and get CCLFs not neons. CCLFs are cheaper then neons (like half the price) you can buy them on ebay.

They are used on the computer to light up the computer from the inside. They are hell of a lot brighter and last longer. But you will have to do a little bit of custom work.

You can also use zipties to help keep the wires organized and in control and on most CCLFs I have see there are square blocks on each end that are flat so you can velcro them down to the plastic (under the dash) or you can always just ziptie them to something under there...

on the passenger side if you take off the glove box you can secure them tightly to that cross bar with electrical tape.

on the drivers side i found the best way is to zip tie them to the wires under there so they stay tucked up there

no offence but neons are pointless...they look good when you show it but thats about it. its one of those mods you do when you first get the car and think how cool is this. but if you like em then go for it. make sure to put a fuse on your power line, and your switch on the ground....

my accord used to be a christmas tree..kinda cool at night. with my system, it was almost like a disco party around my car when we had nothing to do at night .but then i finally realized...i spent a good 20+ hours wiring up all my neons....i just don't have the time to do it for this car nemore...plus i have an i30..i dun think i can put neons on there...it'll look wierd...

P.S. make sure that noone will hit the light n crack it on the passanger side. na also on the driver side, secure it, n not just like oh whatever. it can be dangerous if it suddenly falls while you need to brake...make sure you use a fuse. i believe i used 15 amps. 2 of them in fact in case one didn't cut it.....but make sure you wire it neatly n not just having them plug into your cigarette lighter...cause thats just gay..

i ziptied mine on a bar underneath the seat....lights up the whole car nice and even. Looks better than under the dash. But like everyone else...i found it was a waste of time, i never use them.

i used zipties for the seats, and for under the dash i cut lil strips of double sided tape. holds up very nice...i too have CC tubes and they are very slim, light and have are very bright, they are quiet too, ive noticed some neons have a slight hum, and with 2 or more tubes it can get noticeable. check my cardomain for pics.
