Dumb question about removing fuses

Ok well yesterday I was out working on my car and I was planing on doing the foglight rewire and I opened the fuse box and tried to remove the fuse, but it wouldn't come out...
So my question to you all is how do you remove the fuse. I tried for like 10 mins and it started to get dark. So I called it quits...

Any ideas

Use a fltahead ...

You can still find the "smaller" type under the hood that cna be taken out using a fuse puller.

They should just pull out. They are probably just tight. Give them a good tug.
