Problem with my 9007 headlight conversion!
Problem with my 9007 headlight conversion!
Well today I decided to do the 9004 to 9007 headlight conversion. I read through the entire 10 pages on this subject and I believe that I wired everything up correctly. Well when I turn on my lights they are on high. And when I switch them to high they light up dim? I tried switching the wires at the 9007 headlight socket but it still does the same thing. I am making my own harness. Maybe I should have just bought one but I thought I could do it and save a few bucks. Oh well what do you guys think im doing wrong? I switched the wires from the original driverside socket and connected it to my relays. Is this correct: the 9007 headlight socket is from left to right LOW, GROUND, HIGH? If I did that right then I guess my problem would be in the way I hooked up the relay? I just dont know
Maybe I am just making this harder than it really is? Please help

Just swap the wires again... since the colors are not the same you have to play with them till you find the right combination. Also even you have it right on one side but wrong on the other you will see the "long beam" dashboard light, come on.

so if im reading that diagram correctly its saying that the at the factory plug it High, Ground, and Low. And at the new 9007 plugs its the same High, Ground, Low? I was thinking the stock wiring for 9004 was High, Low Ground? Please help
