Code 304 Misfire

My car has been running great. Yesterday I got in and started it up and had a misfire. From idle through the entire rpm range. I pulled the codes and got 304 #4 Cyl misfire. The first think I thought was a coil went bad. I swapped coils and plugs with another cyl and it stayed with #4. The next think I did was pull the coil and crank it over to see if I'm getting spark and I was. That rules out Ignition. The only other thing I can think of is the injector. I listened and it clicks the same as the others but I think it must be clogged. Funny thing is I started the car this morning and it runs perfect. Anyone else ever experience something like this? I'm thinking to replace that injector to make sure the problem doesn't come back. Anyone have any extra injectors laying around?

Probably the injector like you said - lucky for you that's it's one of the front ones. Ask in the Classified section or look on eBay for a used one

You can do this to make sure: swap injector #2 and #4 and reset the CEL and then check the codes again to see if it moves to cylinder 2. When there's a misfire, it's usually the coil or injector so it's most likely the injector for you

Did you pull it via turning the ECU screw, or with a OBD-II reader? Did you have a CEL? The only thing that will set off a misfire is a bad coil, not an injector.

Code 0304 is for the KS so you must have had another code with it

"If one cylinder is misfiring the problem is spark or fuel" so spark plug/coil or injector

I pulled the codes with my laptop not through the CEL. Must have been a dirty injector because I put 150 miles on the car yesterday and it's running fine now. I'm going to keep putting injector cleaner in the fuel. as well as looking for a cheap set of injectors. My cars coming up on 180k and sooner or later I'm going to need them.
