Spark Plug Gap

I've read it's .044. Any update you guys know of from the factory on this matter? The info I have seems dated. Sometimes the engineers make adjustments to the gap value over time. I'm wondering if this is true for our cars as well. Or are we still going by .044 as a standard?

.044 seems to work. Engine runs smooth. First time doing my own plugs, and i must say, it was pretty easy. I just hate getting dirty cause I'm a prissy *****.

Yes, if used with an updated ECU flash the combonation could net gains of upwards of 8-12 hp .

hey ****ers. At least on my bro's SRT-4, there WAS an update from the manufacturer on a new spark plug gap. Figured something might have come out for our cars. I dunno.

We don't drive SRT-4's. The VQ is a pretty old engine, and is known pretty well, so we should be safe. We;re not haters, just admiring the rarity of your idea.

It's cool. Flaming is expected on line. Was about to change my plugs and the thought just popped into my head. I help my brother mod his car and it was one of the things that just stuck with me. I can't call it.

Ya. Most ideas sound crazy in the begining, people slam you and laugh....But next thing ya know they ask, "how did you do that"?
