P0130f Right Front sensor HO2

OK my buddy works for a shop and he ran my codes for me and I have a CEL light and the code P0130f Right Front sensor HO2. I have a budget Y pipe on there and I believe this is the front sensor in that pipe, correct? Will this give me power losses because the maxima just doesn't feel like i have as much get up and go as before. Where should i get this sensor to replace it. Thanks a ton for your help. Richard

"Right" usually refers to the passenger side of the car or "right bank" is the one near the firewall (bank 1) so I'm guessing its the O2 by the oil filter (passenger firewall) and not the one by the radiator

Bad O2s in the front give bad gas mileage and a little power loss I guess. You can get them from here: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....9&page=7&pp=30 or from a local store

If your car has a lot of miles and your gas mileage isn't that great, then I would recommend replacing both of the front ones since those are the ones that control the gas mileage

Suggestion

Do you think i should just replace both of them in the Y pipe to be safe or just the one i think is bad. They are kinda spendy. I just want to make sure i have full power.

On the link

So on that link there is only one different one for the front. Do i just order two of those walker ones and they are the same sensor or are they different sensors. Sorry guys this is just something i know nothing about.

I was getting 16-18 MPG and I had almost 119k miles when I decided to replace both of my front ones (no CEL, MPG was low so I spent the $110 on the sensors to save money on gas)

I would recommend replacing both if your mileage is high (100k) or if your MPG is low. You could just replace the bad one - your choice

If you're planning on buying from the group deal thing, the front 2 are the same. The dealer only gives different part numbers for the sensors because they supply the sensor with the perfect sized wire and the ones from the group deal fit fine (the wire is a little bit longer but everything will work fine - you'll just have a little slack in it, nothing to worry about)
