The other day when I turned on the Bose, the right front speaker made a deafening loud high pitch sound. I turned the power off and tried again a few blocks away and all was well. Then today it did it again and it's not going away. It doesn't matter if on CD or radio. It won't go away. There is sound out of the other speakers, but of course I can't listen to it over that loud squeal.

Does that mean the amp in that speaker is shot?
Should I just go to a salvage yard and look for the whole speaker/amp unit?
I assume I'll have to remove the door panel? And is that going to be a job?

bose aka blose is garbage... removing the door for the first time will be a pain because those dam cup things around the door handles are soo damm tight
