Yeah, what Sprintmax said. Buy from JcWhitney, only $375 shipped until June 1st, so ya better hurry. After that, kit's go for $500+. Good luck.

Okay, well I ordered the kit , and now im trying to figure out what i need. I did a search and it had tons of gauges and **** but i thought all id really need is a new fuel pump and spark plugs, a bottle heater and a window switch. What kind of spark plug and pump should I get and where ? Also is there anything else I need, because i cant find many other NOS accessories on JC whitney.

Read this--> http://www.clubmaxima.com/articles/N...ForPorties.php courtesy MardigrasMax. I ordered my gauges from Summit. Fuel pressure was $80 and the A/F was around $50 or $60. Those are the gauges I got for now, though I may add an EGT later, especailly if I go over the 60 shot. Do a search of NOS and look at some of the stuff other people have posted. Thats what I'm doing right now and you really learn a lot. I'm going to post some pics as soon as I get my install done, which may be a week or so!!! Good luck.

www.summitracing.com do a search of autometer gauges, or order part #s ATM-4375 for the A/F ratio, and ATM-5709 for the fuel pressure. Prices are in my previous post. You can also run a search for NOS and find some of those parts through there. Good luck.

okay, now that I am going to have all the necessary items, i see people posting about installing like a 70 hp shot. How do you do this, because i am Clueless on how much HP you add when you install the NOS.

on each jet are numbers .. if you look in the front of yoru manual it will tell you what jet is what horsepower...

and you put that jet in the spray nozzle.. and that will be your shot.. which is prety damn cool because when you are ready to upgrade to a 100 shot or more .. its a $6 jet upgrade and no re-installation necessary...

Sprnt pretty much covered all that is needed. Dont forget to get Teflon Paste and some brass fittings for the Fuel Pressure Safety Switch. I would highly sugguest you getting a window switch and bottle heater first along with the gauges.

BTW, the kit comes with a 50, 60, & 70 shot jet and 1 "42" bypass jet for the fuel pressure vacuum line. You will have to buy a 40 shot jet for $6.

I have posted some pics on my install if you do a search. Or maybe someone can link yah to it. Enjoy and start laughing.

Second try at posting this!

Okay first, gauge mounting. You can buy a maxima specific autometer gauge pod for either one or two gauges, for the 2 1/16 gauge size. To mount them under the stereo, you just have to get some abs (plastic) and cut it to fit. I asked theblue a while back and that's all he did.

40 shot will be fine, you won't blow your engine. Some people here are running 100 shot! With other mods of course, new fuel pump, injectors, etc.

The basic kit as it comes will work like this: There are two safety circuits that must be complete before nitrous will flow, and one power circuit. 1) Full throttle switch must be depressed. 2) fuel pressure safety switch must detect an adequate fuel pressure. The power switch must be in the "on" position. You should not use the NOS below 3000 rpms or serious damage may result. this is why you NEED a window switch. YOu can turn your sytem on, but it will not allow NOS to flow until a specified RPM, then it will cut it off at a specified RPM. If you hit the REV limiter, fuel will cut off and bye bye motor. Anyway, with the stock system, you can arm it after you pass 3000 and it will flow, as long as the mentioned items (fuel pressure switch, full throttle switch) allow it. Then, your off. Bye bye competition. Unless they have more power than you still
