Its off. Why wouldnt 1 degree make a differenec if that pretty much what you need in order to be in spec? You'll need to take a trip back, dont want your tires suffering. I'm assuming you paid them?

The cross camber is fine. Although the camber itself is rather high. Since you have a camber kit, might as well use it to bring the camber to within factory specs. Maybe the Firestone place does not know you have a camber kit? If they go by the computer, it would show that Maxima camber is non-adjustable.

i just went there. i had to argue with them for abuot 15 minutes that i need my camber re-done. n then they were trying to tell me that my tire will not wear out with -1.4 n -1.5 degrees. n i told them that i wanted -.25 on each...then they go..ur camber can't be chagned anyways. n then i opened my hood n then said...i told you guys i had one and to adjust it..n then they were like...oh....if they don't know how to adjust my camber kit...i'm just going to ask for a full refund..lemme remind you that i bought the lifetime warranty which came out to be like $155

i want -.25 but i know that he won't be able to do -.25 because he was trying to tell me that it is toe that messes up tire wear!!! n then heh as this 240sx n saying that he will burn me no matter how much i will have modded it. n i go..ok..but i'm talking about my camber.... i know your 240sx can burn me....but i also know that this has nothing to do with my camber....it was a big arguement...n i think i'm just giong to tell him to refund my lifetime warranty n just have a single-time warranty.. i have no clue whats going to happen...this is ridiculous...

Excessive toe angle and/or camber angle will burn tires faster.
If both are out of spec, then the wear will be extremely fast.
About 3/4 to 1 degree negative camber isn't bad.
I personally prefer zero toe angle to a little bit of toe-out on the alignment.
I believe the factory specs dictate some toe-in, but having some toe-out helps with steering responsiveness. A liitle toe-in vs. toe-out will have about the same rate of tire wear, but I feel that toe-out is more fun to drive.
Toe-out means that with the steering wheel centered, the front left wheel points just a little to the left and the front right wheel points a little to the right. Toe-in means the opposite -- the wheels are pointed in towards each other.

i'm pretty low. but then it seems like my car pulls to the right. n i'm pretty sure that my wheel isn't completely in the middle. i'm going to drive some more tomorrow so i'll justify if i need to go back. if i do need another alignment, i'm just going to call up corporate n hopefully they can re-imburse me by sending me to another firestone or something. i really don't want to go back to THAT firestone. now i finally realize why i dis-like going to shops. They always think they know EVERYTHING and that THEY'RE ALWAYS right n know EXACTLY what they're doing.
