Just got word back from the tranny shop. Too much soft shifting now which is fine for granny drivers but not for a performance car. The signal is going to the solenoids but its not reacting physically to the shift command as quickly as it should. That means the Mobiltek vb mod could well be toast and they'll have to open the whole tranny up to check the condition of the internals to get a better idea. For you guys with stock auto trannies it may just be your solenoids only but you'll need to have it opened up to see what else needs work.

I dropped my car off at the tranny shop this morning. I'll post later on when I hear what the problem is.
BTW I don't have any problems down shifting and if I let off the gas a little it shifts just fine....

I needed a new pump and torque converter. Reverse was on its last legs.
Cost to fix: CDN$3,362.00 with taxes. My credit card is taking a big hit with that and the new Pirellis.

I'll get my car back tomorrow afternoon.

Ouch, I think I'll try flushing the Trans Fluid first... It's pretty black and Has 50K miles on it and it looks like it was overfilled. I hope the fluch helps...

Well, I've lost $100 worth of Castrol Synthetic ATF as well that was put in 3 weeks ago when I did the tranny flush.
