Ok guys, i know that this has been covered. This mod supposedly enhances the steering response right? Will this in any way result in a harsher ride? Or just a sharper steering? Which bushing do i need to replace, and which parts are avaiable?
97 gxe, stock
Thanks

This isn't a bad mod at all. For something like $15 you get improved steering response without any increase in ride harshness. The steering will be noticably quicker and more responsive.

You will not get a harsher ride. The car will lean less thus better response/steering. Go to suspension.com they have great prices and have the complete Energy Suspension line.

I do like the spoiler. Who makes it, how much, and where did you get it?

I also have the GXE.

Check out Energy Suspension bushings... They are probably the cheapest around, and are pretty good quality. Just be careful that you install them properly and that they rest even in the holders... Polyurethane bushings are known to squeak, especially if not installed perfect. Some kits come with a special oiling grease that will reduce the effects of the squeaking... Eventually they quiet themselves out... They definately help in the steering response/handling area...

I had two sets of front sway bar bushings
from ES and they both failed on me. In
both cases, the edges would rip apart.
I can assure you that it's not installation.
So right now I went back to stock rubber ones
since I can no longer trust them. I avg 23k
miles a year and both sets didn't last a yr.
So keep that in mind. The endlink bushings
are fine though. Those have been on my car for
a while.
