Price Discrepancy O2 Sensor: Maxima vs I30

I went to Bosch Website to get Part number for 97 Maxima. Found out I need 15726(Universal type before Cat Converter).

Then I typed this number on google. Here is what I found.

http://www.oxygensensorwholesale.com...maxima_se.html Price $54.96

http://www.partsandaccessories.com/s...o2_sensor.html Price: $42.54 For I30 but same Part#

http://www.partsandaccessories.com/o...e=3-dot-0l_gas Price 54.96 _____ Same parts but price discrepancy on different cars.

http://www.1motormart.com/infiniti~j...nsor_year.html <== Same here..Price: $44.16 for I30

Is there extra part numbers that follows after 15726 to go more specific?

Can I use either one of those?

Sorry if this topic has been posted previously. I don't have search function.

I don't think Connection(harness) can go that bad after age. Universal O2 should be fine, right?

Yhea it is fine, just makes it more of a PITA to splice the wires into the harness. I would just get the sensor and harness and make it easy on yourself

I would much rather just plug and play than have to worry about splicing and my connections.

just to add on, is oxygensensors.com the best price for sensors?

How about NGK O2 (PN24018) Sensor? Their price is about same as BOSCH. I assume
"Made In Japan" might be better than Bosch(Made in Germany??? )?

I work for an AutoZone 'company' so I figured I'd check out the prices at AutoZone. The Bosch OE type listed for $85.99 in my area, but the Bosch Universal listed for $19.99. For $60 a sensor, I can solder and heat shrink 6 wires. Typical price on the universal is ~$60, so I'm not sure why they are listed so cheap. But I compared the part number to several different auto parts sites and it was the same (15726). So I bought 2 and added an air filter and some fuses to get free shipping over $50 on autozone.com. It wasn't worth driving down to the store to save 20% off of that (my discount). Plus I doubt they would be listed for $19.99 at the store. Here's to hoping they show up.

For your ZIP, put in 95820. It does not really matter because the order ships from Memphis, TN anyhow. Still shows $19.99 in my area. My order did ship.
