Painting tips?
Well I was about to paint this OEM spoiler I just got off eBay and was going to redo my bumper. Living in the city has taken its tool on it. I have received my paint from paintscratch.com, which was primer, clear coat, and then the actually paint itself all in spray cans. I found this site that was a good reference for painting http://www.halfords.com/268.asp , but wanted to see if there was any other suggestions.
Great prep work makes for a better out come. That site is a good start. I also need to paint my front bumper as it looks quite bad, but I plan to save up and get a compressor and paint gun vs a spray can.
Make sure to sand everything nice and evenly, depending on how smoothe te surface is already, sand with a higher grit paper to smooth everything out, clean properly, hand it up and spray a decent coat of primer, let it dry, sand again if it feels rought, then do about 3 decent coats of base and a few of clear, should come out looking exceptional.
