my car is 97, now bad odor comming from it. I need to clean it.
In hayness Repair Manual, 3-14 tilte " Eliminationg air, conditioning odors".
If you see the pic 12.32, where is this location?

yeah i've tried the lysol spray suggested in the stickies but all that does is mask the smell for a few days. i suspect that most of the lysol evaporates before it gets to the a/c components, and that's exactly why the product above is a foam.
ow no, I was cleanning the the turnk to installer the wirring for my system and guss what....

Get under the dash and take out the fan. It's fairly easy and like all fans you will see mold or dust or whatever on the fins. Use rubbing alcohol or something even bleach to clean it. Then spray lysol or whatever cleaner in the air ports. Replace the fan after it's dry. Should be good to go and no smell.
