uhhh whats HID kits?
where would i get this so called HID kit/how much?
ur kidding right??? HID's are not your ordinary light bulbs. they are meant to produce a much brighter light output. i wont even go into details. but if you really serious, they're about $250-$350. n since your harness has melted, that means you were putting a too high of a wattage light bulb in your car. if its a regular harness, you can usually buy it at your local auto parts store. it should say 9004/9007 harness. they're teh same thing just 9004 n 9007 have 2 wires that are in different positions....
r u running the "XENON" halogen bulbs... hehe.... cause they run hotter cause they take more power.. and melt the harness.. this then cuases thme to go out when u hit bump and such anc ocmeback when u hit another bump.... replace harness or bulb.. and ur good...
or HID.. heheheh
or HID.. heheheh
high wattage AM bulbs draw a higher current that is melting your harness.

lol sorry i WAS serious about them! i guess i need a new harness and bulb.. is the harness hard to install? ill check out walmart and pepboys for a harness. Thanks for everyones help
If you get aftermarket bulbs make sure it is the same wattage or close to stock, if not you are better off to wire up the extra wiring harness. It should be like 45w/65w for stock not 85w/100w.
I have same problem, the passenger side headlight low beam goes out for some days then come back, but this time the low beam goes out for three weeks no come back, the high beam and day running light are always working, I check the bulbs with no problem, I use a new socket but nothing happen, I check three wires connect with the socket but no voltage( with switch on), I don't know what's the problem, some people can help?
