I am about to buy rear calipers because mine seized on my GLE. They offer Unloaded, Semi-loaded, and loaded rear calipers. What does that mean?

Semi-loaded means the calipers include all necessary pad and mounting hardware. This is according to Raybestos.

WTF unloaded means it doesn't come with pads yet they are the most expensive. Semi-loaded is the cheapest and then loaded.

Unloaded: $104.99
Semi: $85.99
Loaded: $95.99

Am I missing something?

just go with the cheapest ones??? if your calipers are seized that's all you'll need to replace. if you get extra hardware that's great.

What is a "core" charge. They are charging me 54 bucks on both calipers on core charges. What does that mean? At the added cores I might as well goto my tire place and get them at 120 a caliper.

A core exchange means that you give them your calipers that you want replaced I believe, somone will chime in if im wrong. So your paying them some money and giving them your old calipers for new ones.

saving you most of the cost of purchasing, due to the fact they get collateral with the purchase. the calipers you send them are usually refurbished and resold, making them money, saving you a few bucks and doing away with an old broken part youd never use.

Nice ... so you order them and then when you swap them you mail them back? How do you guarentee that you get your money back?
