ok heres the deal. the other day my battery and brake light came on so i went and got a new battery, only to find out on here that it was probably my alternator. so with the new battery the lights are still on and i just drove it home to figure out what to do. this morning i was going to take it to get the alternator replaced but the car would not fire. it was turning over fine but not firing like it wasnt getting gas. i pulled some fuses the other day to check them and they all looked good, but never tried starting it again figuring i would just take it to a shop and let them fix it. so basically i just need to get the car started to drive like 2 miles down the road to fix it. i just dont know what would cause the car to not fire up, could it be a fuse? thanks in advance for any help.
