are 1995 all OBD 2

are all the 1995 OBD 2 or not how cam you tell thanks.?

Should be...standard is for 96' and newer, like for inspections. But Nissan is ahead of the curve i guess. All 95's should be OBDII.

They all should be ODB 2, dont know you'd know for sure. Wonder if you can tell the people doing your emissions test its a 96 so that they will do it? (certain places close to me wont emission test a car thats 95 or under).

No...1995 maximas are OBD 1..1996 and after are OBD 2 since the D.O.T required all cars from this year to have the same code readers..

if you're at the inspection station and they stick the probe up the pipe, it's OBD-1-
1996 and up connects to a computer

Not quite. I owned a 1995 Maxima bought brand new in late 1994. It was OBD II. It was rare around this time that some models were OBD II, until it became standard in 1996. Nissan was just ahead of their time.

My 95 SE is OBD-II, it's located in the passenger footwell (as noted on the driver's side, to the bottom right of the steering wheel column).

i think if the car was made b4 march 95 it is obd1. after is obd2

2.My Max = 07/94 and it's OBDII, ALL 4th generation Maximas are OBDII, we're cool like that
