The E-brake has a clip you have to pull up and then the cable comes off. The brake line just has a bolt your remove. makes sure you replace both copper washers. youtube has a couple videos if you search.

My 97 maxima E brake cable has a longish eyelet that hooks to a spring loaded bracket that is bolted to the calipers. I see no clip!
BTW I checked again Autozone on line. They offer Duralast Reman caliper for $49.9 with core $35.
I still wonder about repair of the calipers!
