Since so many people now have the 95-96 CE red/clears, someone has to have tinted them. If anyone has the CE red/clears tinted, please post a pic, really curious to see how they look. I have the 95-96 CE red/clears, but the clear portion is a little TOO clear for my tastes, I want to tint them, but I would like to see a pic first of them tinted.

 

Well but a lot have returned their's and are waiting for the new batch. If you don't like the clear then just go ahead and tint them. Just I would do it like the DTM and open up the tails and paint the chrome with a high gloss black.

i was thinking about tinting them and then i think...why did i buy these if im just gona smoke them out...what i really wana do is get some clear frosted paint and coat the whole headlights so there still red/clear but not "too clear"

headlights? just do DTM mod to the tails.

 

You can get the same effect with your stock tails. I did the DTM mod to mine - I just had to remove the orange and clear reflectors then paint the inside housing.
