Opinion on stealership decision

I went to my stealership asking them what to do about my 0302 EGR code and they told me that for $90 they can diagnose the exact problem with the system. Is this a good thing to do? Does anybody have experience with this? Is this a normal price?

You already know the problem, 0302 is EGR insufficient or excessive flow detected.
The VQ is known for clogging up the EGR system with carbon. You need to clean the EGR flow path and check to make sure the system operates freely.

You can email me the $90 bucks now......

Get a Haynes shop manual for help on the EGR system components.

Yeah just clean out the EGR system or replace the EGR valve.
