Got a code for it the other day. Rich gas smell in the exaust. its really bad. But if i got a 4.6 ohm reading in resistance on it and the range is 2.5-4.3 does that mean its bad? and would that be causin a missfire or bad gas smell

 

If your getting an error code for the heated o2, first check the fuse. If thats good, then it needs to be replaced.

 

Yeah i had the same thing and had to replace the sensor
