i hear a whistleing noise everytime i press the accellerator
it seems to be coming from the left drivers side wheel or from inside the engine.

Anyone have any ideas what it might be...

If it is coming from the wheel area, it might be the brake wear indicators, which make a squeal when you first accelerate. Listen for the noise, then hit the brakes quickly to see if it stops the noise.

Or it might just be the normal intake whistling noise under light acceleration (usually in 3rd or 4th gear).

my CAI whistles in 1st gear up to about 2500 rpm. Maybe thats it. Is your intake in your wheel well?

My intake sometimes whistles through 1st gear, maybe yours does too, or it could be your brakes.
