I am thinking about painting the rocker panels along with the lower portions of the front and rear bumpers black on my 1997 SE model. The base color is white so the black should contrast nicely. Also thinking about painting the middle section of the hood black as well.

You guys have any thoughts on this or maybe a better idea. The front bumper needs attention anyway so I figured a change in color might be nice. I have all the equipment and expertise so the only cost will be time, prep materials and paint.


Let me know what you think. I wanted to mess around with the design photoshop but have not had anytime. I may try to get something done this PM and will add a link/picture later.

I'd suggest taking a good photo and posting it, I'll try to Photoshop something up for you so you can get and idea of how it would look before actually doing it.
