Strut sqeaking?

so ive got progress springs on SE struts (which i know is a no-no) but i wasnt going to buy $400 shocks when im just going to get coilovers soon. anyway - ive had no problems, the ride is awesome. however i switched my stock wheels for my friends 18" rotas just to see what the ride was like for a week or two and ever since i switched back to stock, my front passenger strut squeaks alot. Is this fixable or is the only real solution to just replace them w/ the coilovers.
thanks guys.

Seems like the added size and weight of the wheels have finally hurt the stock struts.
