keyless entry cool or wierd?

Okay I have noticed this problem in the past but didnt no it was a problem of keyless entry. It seems pretty cool. Anyways before I used to press the open key 4 or 5 tims really fast and the windows rolled down about halfway. I thought my windows just slipped. Today my friend has a new acura tl and his windows rolled down and stuff via keyless entry. I just went ahead and pressed the open key 4 or 5 times and my windows went down. My friend reliazed and told me my keyless entry does that. Is it a bad thing, should I worry about this problem in the future? I have the stock keyless entry that came with my 97 maxima.

IS it a bad thing? Nope. It's a good thing. As the owners manual states, press the key fob twice and HOLD IT to watch your windows go down automatically. Nice feature on hot days. IT amazes people when you do it. Tell them "hey why did you leave my window down?!" ;-)

Why would you be worried that you can roll down the windows without having to be in the car with the key in

I love that feature good for hot days, and I get the "hey you left you windows down" a lot when I do it with friends who havent seen it.

Now if only we can roll them back up. it would be great for the hot days where you leave the windows open and then it starts to rain. and you dont feel like running outside in the rain.

If you press 4-5 times, do they go halfway and stop? I just press & hold, and let go when they're where I want them.

GXE did not come with the factory alarm, unless specifically requested.

What did you mean you didnt have factory fob but an aftermarket? Was an aftermarket alarm system installed on your car?

Yeah. Great for hot days. I have no idea what would make them not add the roll up feature which would make a lot of sense.
