Quick question

Quick question

Quick Question for anybody, My car has a clunk when i turn into a parking lot, i have the chance to put my car on a lift in 2 days at work, i would like to know waht to SPECIFICALLY look for or at. I got:
1)brakes
2)mounts
3)02 sensors
4) THAT GOD DAMN CLUNKING SOUND!!!!.
any help is greatly appreciated

does it clunk when you turn the car sharply at low speeds? Does it clunk when braking hard? Soft? Not braking at all? Really need more information.

Check your CV joints, and CV boots, also check lower control arms, rest of suspension, etc.

I would say when i'm coasting, below 15mph. and not too sharp.

I had a something called a knuckle boot replacest and the noise went away.

I would definetly say the CV axle and/or boot needs to be replaced. the symptoms described acurately describe this problem. check the boots for rips or leaks. good luck.
