I parked it on 75th street and fort hamilton, right outside mckinley park. This is in brooklyn NY. It was parked around 1000 and i realized it was gone about 1130. The car is pearl white. Most distinctive things youll notice are 6000k hids, AE smoked headlights and cornerlights, 2k 17" rims, debadged trunklid and a white "jOnct" sticker on the drivers side. If anyone sees it please pm me, i lost my cellphone in the car too. Thanks for the help.

Damn man, im sorry to hear that. I dont know what I would do if my car was stolen. Or even broken into. Good luck man, and make a police report ASAP if you didnt already. I dont live in Brooklyn, but im only about an hour and a half away. May not sound like much, but if i see anything ill contact you.

If you left your cell phone in your car, you should call your cell phone company see if the thieves are dumb enough to call someone using your cell....and maybe you might be able to go from there to see who stole your car. Sorry to hear man, good luck.

 

Or you could ask your cell company to track the phone. Most cell phones have GPS tracking in them.

 

Yeah i already called the phone company about that. They shut the phone off immediately after the car was stolen. My phone didnt have gps anyway.

sorry to hear of this...i know EXACTLY how you feel as mine was stolen a few months ago in queens area...it really sucks...hope they find soon. my car was found by cops about 2-3 days after.

If your cell phone was on, even without GPS, the cell phone provider could find out which tower its getting its signal. That could give you an idea if its even around town still. I'm almost positive this can be done with any phone that is on. Like everyone has said good luck on getting the max back and hope if you get it back its not trashed.

 

I've been using "TRAID" zero contact security since i bought the car. Even if they attempt to start the car it will not turn over... Unless they have the dongle on my keychain. 1-888-NO-THEFT.

If you happen to get a smart theif they could potentially disable it..
Then again i have mine welded into a small steal box.. Unless they have a plasma torch they aint getting in.

I just got off the phone with the previous owner of the vehicle and he told me he had lojack installed into the car. Unfortunatly he stopped payment on it a few months before he sold the car. Is there anything i can do with this information to try and locate the car?

It happens. You could make a simple starter kill and prevent 70% of thefts. Your car will probably turn up in a few days missing a few parts. Hopefully not set on fire.

 

I dont understand why they would steal my car when there was a 03 mazda 6 and a 05 4runner parked right in front and back of me. I dont even have mods in the car. The most the stero is worth is 20 bucks. ****ing losers.

but seriously, I can't believe how many cars are stolen everyday. just on the forum here, there is almost a car a week gone. granted, many of these occur in NY, but still. is there any sure-fire way to keep this from happening without outragous lengths such as taking wheels off each night, etc.?
