Question about Starter

my car was giving me problems starting up for a while. i had to rev it up to get it started. well it finally died on me and would'nt even attempt to rotate. i changed the starter and it still is givin me a problem. is this the mast flow sensor or any other sensor, because my father told me that it had to do with an irregular tempature somewhere or something to that affect. maybe someone else has had this problem. please i really need help.

1. Is it turning over at all (from your post, it seems like it isn't)
2. Did you check the battery posts for corrosion, the battery for proper charge?
3. Did you try to jump start?
4. Do any of the electrical accessories work (lights, radio etc.)?

If the battery and starter are good, it could be the ignition switch or relay... the ignition switches are prone to failure.

Reply to max not starting

Hey, i just wanted to let you know my max recently had its starter replaced due to the same winding down grind... turns out that i had a short in my wire hearness, and i needed a new knock sensor. Odds are for you its just a fused wire that needs replacing. Probably cost around $200.
