Is this a sign of a Slipping Clutch?

The torque is still decent on the low end and top end speeds are good to but sometimes if i get on it hard in 4th gear when the rpms are high it feels like i have a rev limiter or the cars starts to hesitate im wondering is this a beginning sign of clutch wear?

Say your on the highway in 3th and punch it and it revs up a little then you feel your car get up and go a second later, its time for a new clutch. How many miles do you have?

Also try to get your car going in 4th gear. If you can get it going without killing it you probably need a new clutch.

Are you going to replace it yourself? I had mine done and the cheepest I could get it done for was $700.

what was the clutch that was close to stock, but engages a bit harder than? like %5-10% or something like that? what is a good replacement/upgrade clutch? And does it come with everything you will need to do it yourself?

I agree with the general concensus. You need a new clutch. I have a racing clutch that is designed to slip a tad so when I do high load shifts it acts similar to what you describe only very faintly so as not to TQ shock the tranny. If your stock clutch is doing this, you have issues

hey talking about clutch replacement wich one would be the best one? i've heard that a 5 gen clutch fits into a 4 gen and a stage 3 and work well? i got mine replaced at 108k and now is 120k and sometimes when go to the track after 3 races start to slip in 2nd or 3rd... 12 miles and slip??? WTF and besides in normal driving i don't go WOT all the time i think it should work well for 12 miles on it....! what u guys think? maybe that it is because i bought it in autozone for 180 and the brand is ugly ducky?
