definitely hot. instead of removing the gold emblem. you should paint it black. krylon fusion worked great for me. only a few chips here n there, but if you do a lotta clear coats you shoudl be fine. your wheels are one of my favorites.

Looks good. Kind of like an optical illusion that first picture though. As if it is wider gap at the front.
How much did it cost and where did you get it?

I dunno, I'm a little divided. To me it's sorta like the red smoking Kumhos... cool idea but trying a little too hard. For some reason, I think it would look better than a regular CF hood on your car though.

So, I'll give it the , if it means anything from a 13-post user.

Does anyone have pics of a black oem looking cf hood (If there is such thing)? I like the idea of a cf hood but I don't like the look.

damnit Flavor you need to stop posting your sig, every time i see your car i get a hardon

as far as the colored CF hood, it looks nice on your car but its just not my style, i think i would like it more if it was much darker with just a hint of red weave showing up, but thats just me. props on the nice car, and get that front end cleaned up with the stillen kit

First off. No problem on the install help Jonas. I like doing stuff like that.

As far as issues with finish. CF is very ceceptable to outside contaiminates. You really need to take good care of it. More so than your other paint. Keep it clean and a good coat of wax. This should help in keeping the original shine. I have not had any cracks on mine due to heat and believe me it gets hot.
