120k service

I am changing the spark plugs, fuel filter, and doing an oil change. Is there anything else that I need to do at 120K?

On top of that

-change brake fluid
-check suspension allignment
-check CV boots
-change any hoses that are old
-check serpentine belts

And also, I would swap in a new thermostat to reduce the risk of over heating.

Does the 4th Gen Maxima's / I30's do not have a Timing Belt / Water Pump that need to be replaced at around the 100K Mileage??

Pardon my Ignorance if the 4th Gen have the Timing CHAINS...

They have timing chains, but you should check the guides or teeths on them just to make sure every once in while. Its rare for a Maxima's water pump to fail near 100K miles. I do believe they have a metal impellar which is eeeyons sturdier than a plastic one (the the crap they put in my 'high' quality' german)

Speaking of 4th gen in the 120K range, has anyone had problems with their heater core?

I've been losing water in my 95 SE a very little bit at a time and in the winter months when I have heat selected I sometimes smell antifreeze after I shut the engine off and step outside.

Also, as soon as I drive off for the first time in the morning, I hear the trickle of water from somewhere under the dash and a musty smell. Nothing is ever wet under the dash so I'm not sure if its a leak in the core or some other problem.

Any advice appreciated.
