Line Pressure Solenoid Valve (Automatic Transmission)

I disconnected the resistor for the Drop Resistor mod for a quick run to show my friends. As soon as I started the car I got a check engine light. This morning I got 5 Fast and 12 slow flashes, which means Line Pressure Solenoid Valve (Automatic Transmission). I reset the ECU, so we'll see if the lights goes away. If it doesn't go away, is it something that should be looked at right away?

Thanks, Aaron

Did you reconnect the drop resistor? If not, reconnect it, reset the ECU and you should be set.

Yes, I disconnected it for a short ride. When I got back two minutes later, I reconnected it.

Ok, I reset the ECU and the CEL was gone. Then, I left the house and it's back on again. WTF!

Make sure you connected everything correctly. Because you prolly yanked a wire loose when you tried to dissconnect

2 da max, how do you like your WOT switch on the resistor. Im thinking about hooking it up to a toggle switch instead, because i hit wot more often than i should.... That way i would minimize its use.

Thanks for the replies. The shifts seem a little harsh. I'll check it out tomorrow...
