Infiniti J30 Seats

Would Infiniti J30 seats fit in a 99 Maxima without modifications?

the J 30 is to an altima as the I30 is to a maxima, i dont think the rear seats would fit, you could probly manage getting the fronts in

ahhh gotcha. what he said^^^^

might take some minor modification though. especially power/heated seat connectors...etc

edit:

Just looked it up, its not really an altima, cause its rear wheel drive. Weird, cause ive never seen, let alone heard of one.

J30 is rear wheel drive. Its not related to an altima at all. Its on its own. Some say its a similar chassis to the 3rd gen maximas. I would agree with the latter.

ahh not quite... J30 is a RWD beast.. if tuned rite.. theres nothing similar between the two.. atleast i dont think...
they even had gated shifter... i mean this is back in the days.. makes me wonder why i30 doesnt have em..

but yea.. ive seen j30 seats and they look quite nice.. im shure hte fornts can be adjusted... also i think they have memory if im not mistaken rite?

but i never saw a tan color like the max.. for the leather.. but black would go i guess.. ive seen a j30 with an orangish interior .. very beautiful....

only thing i see is maybe the rear ends look a little alike. altima's never had a 3.0L in it.

I think J30's are butt ugly. I can't stand the looks of it. But they do seem pretty luxurious.

I don't know, seats look like they might fit, just don't want to get stuck with them.

J30 = VG30DE, ~210hp, RWD, 4 door, cousin to Z32 300ZX
M30 = VG30E, ~160hp, RWD, 2 door, cousin to Z31 300ZX

Nissan Leopard. That is an interesting name.

Oh an about the seats. I30 seats are bolt on. J30 seats might take some modifications to the brackets or custom ones, but shouldn't be terribly hard. They look pretty close.

A J30 would be a nice sleeper with a little bit of diet, new suspension, and some turbos on that VG engine. An M30 would be nice too, especially with an engine swap, but I would prefer a more modern engine over the VG30E especially with RWD. You would think they would have put the VG30DE engine in it since it was supposed to be somewhat sporty I guess.

I got the J30 seats in my 1997 max.

Problem, the brackt are different.
option: to drill new holles, ( easier).
To use your orignal max frame and take the other clothe and put toghter, which took us about 16 hours of work.

The leather seats are great and came with side airbage( do not know how to connect them) also came with heating.

All the seats front and back for about $50( the junk yard didnot know which car it belong to)

The leather seats are great comfortable. nice to have it in the max.

Gaab any pics? I am thinking of doing the same thing with heated leather J30 seats. Does the tan leather match I would think it does?
