Links for building up auto tranny

I know some people have some built up auto trannys. Where did you guys order high stall TC's from? Aside from that and and the VB mod, what else can be done to strengthen and increase performance from it?

I'm debating which is cheaper at the moment, 5spd swap or built auto and also which will perform better. 5spd hands down is more fun to drive IMO though, so it has the lead right now.

Go with the 5-speed hands down. If for some reason your left leg is amputated, then upgrade your auto.

its like what 400 for a good high stall tc? and another 300 for a vb? hhm about 700 dollars, yea youll shift quick, but a 5spd tranny is much lighter,

i mean since you have nitrous, i guess autos the way, but its up to you. 5spd man, its so much more fun to an auto

it's a dilemma for me, I really dont know what to do. I'd loooove 5spd but auto is good with nitrous, just not so much for the stock one hehe. I'd like to do the swap myself because labor will be $$$$$$ but I"m in a press for a vehicle asap too.
