two things that i have notice

i hate to post so many questions. and to those who've taken the time...thank you. i've learned a lot and enjoy taking your advice, (it happens to help me make less mistakes ) but anyways why is it when one max has anissue you find 800 others with similar issues.

and another thing...i just rotated my tires and changed my oil. at the same time i decided ot check my fluid levels becuase i seen a leak behind my oil pan. any idea what it could be. i also found that my radiator from the top view is dry. i'm wiggin out right now. my last car had a leak that we had issues finding and then i cracked a gasket or something my dad told me. and oil was leaking. my last car was totaled. please help guys.............................................. ............

You saw a leak behind your oil pan while checking fluid levels? Hmm...

It may be the oil pressure sensor leaking, if not it may be the oil pan seal/gasket.

You dont see any coolant when you take the cap off? Is there anything in your coolant resevoir? Add some if there's not....keep an eye on your engine temp.

the other thing is that the radiator resevoir is empty and i just added distilled water and coolant. it didnt stay there long. what to do???

Might be condensation from the a/c.

You prolly have a crack in the washer fluid resivoir

Keep adding coolant till there is some in the resivoir. it is probably just really low. But you might have a leak. Try doing a pressure test.

if its from the ac, u can look under the hood on the laft of your engine at the metal [aluminum?] pipe, it might be wet and dripping.

If its on the passenger side of the car...How about power steering fluid?

I dont think there is a sticky for a pressure test. In a nutshell, To do one you will need to tap into a hose somewhere, with both a valve and gauge, add pressure to the system, and see if the gauge indicates leakage.

Touch the fluid with your finger. What color does it come up on your hand? Automatic trans fluid (which is also power steeing fluid!) should be cherry red when fresh and somewhat oily. It turns brownish grey when it's old and overdue for changing. Coolant is usually green and watery. If it's clear, it could be water from the AC condenser. It is perfectly normal to see this on a humid day if you've been using the AC.

i'm thinking its the a/c. you guys are right. my steering fluid is fine and i check that and brake fluid roughly once a week. about the pressure test...can someone give me a more indepth explanations. i hate to be a pain, but i really would like to perform this before the leak (if it is a leak) gets worse. thanks in advance.

Don't start fixing things until you know what's broken. Have you ever figured out what's leaking?
