How do I remove the front cup holder for 1997

I want to know how I can remove the cup holders on my 1997 Maxima so that I can replace the heated seat switch on the passenger side. Anyone have a link with some pictures that would show me? Or am I better off getting a Haynes manual?

Just pull the cup holder straight up by the lid and it will come out.

Right "you won;t break it" HA.... When I bought my car there was a screw holding the cupholder in place cuz the person who had my car before me prolly yanked it out and he/she broke one of the clips that secures it to the console so now its getto rigged by a screw

Pull up on the lid, but also use your other hand to pull on the cup holders too. That will hopefully help to avoid breaking it.

I bought mine with a broken cup holder, so I super glued it. It works fine.
