All Auto Maxes step inside. (vid of accelleration)

Hello all,
I don't have the option of testing another auto max since I don't live in the states. I have a big feeling that my max is MUCH slower than all others. I thought that if I placed a short clip of acceleration, all you guru's could help and tell me if in fact it's normal acceleration for an auto or if something is definitely wrong.

Please notice how slow it picks up (i know it's an auto but are all that slow?)

Sorry for the bad quality - roads suck here.

WOW! Your tach is really outpacing your speedometer...which means that you've got some transmission issues, like band/clutch slippage or a bad torque converter.

Well does anyone know what the max speed on each gear is for an auto? Because if we know that, they I could also see if it is a problem. Because in first gear when I rev the car up to around 4500RPM and then it switch gears...I think my speedometer is around like 40 - 45km/h only.

wow that is very wiered for an auto for it to rev practically to red line and than shift. I think you were in second gear approach 6k rpm at 40mph. Do you feel it pulling at all above 3500 rpm?

my max usually reaches 5rpm around 40 then shifts . is that normal??? my car seems to be a little bit at the same speed. all check for sure on my way to school.

Don't listen to people who do not know what they are talking about, your car is accelerating fine, what's the elevation there? It accelerates better than mine, and look at my mods ... though I'm at a high (7400') elevation...

Each shift vs RPM is right on

1st gear at 40mph or so.... i pulled almost all the way through second in that video....
I shift manually that's why it goes to the redline.

OK....so far I'm not too worried since you guys are saying it's normal acceleration... the server should work with the video - give it some time.

so the low end power basically stinks on auto's huh???
Up until 20mph I feel like i'm crawling - then it gets a bit better.
I'll try cleaning the fuel injectors to see if it helps a bit & change my PCV valve - I've done everything else as far as maintnance

I have a y-pipe and a hacked airbox.
I'm only at a low elevation (489ft)

Then why are you worried . . . . Get a 5M swap if you want better low end accel, or a 3.5L .. or both.

I'm not local like you guys - - shipping kills everything for me. Plus with gas over $5.00/gallon - 3.5l is out of the question.

That's normal. When you floor it, the auto takes it to right around 6300 before it shifts.

The rest of you guys that saw something wrong in the video....
What exactly was it that you noticed? Or is this just "educated" guesses?

Correct, and 5spds aren't much faster. We drive maximas people! %90 pct of you are like me, never been to the track, only have a few power mods, and floor it once in a while. Yet you fokers worry about how fast or slow the damn thing is.

ok fine, faster at running to the grocery store, faster sitting in traffic, faster at inflating the egos of the 5spd owner because he can rev his engine and feel like a race car driver.
